Jamshedpur: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the result of JEE Main 2025 Session-1 Paper-1 (BTech-BE), and Jamshedpur has a lot to celebrate. Over 450 students from the city qualified for JEE Advanced, with Ujjwal Aditya emerging as the city topper by securing 99.98 percentile.
Ujjwal, son of railway employee N.T. Roy, resides in Haludbani, Parsudih. He studied up to Class 10 at Loyola School, Bistupur, before enrolling at Gayatri Shiksha Niketan, Adityapur, for his Plus Two education. Ujjwal has already begun his preparation for JEE Advanced and aspires to join the computer science branch at one of the top IITs.
“I have a keen interest in computer science and physics,” said Ujjwal. “My current focus is to perform well in JEE Advanced and secure admission to IIT in the computer science stream.”

Ujjwal’s mother, Rashmi Rai, is a homemaker. He credited his success to the support of his family and teachers. Ujjwal prepared for JEE Main by attending classes at two coaching institutes — one in Bistupur and another in Sakchi, where he participated in a test series. His preparation strategy was focused on daily revision without setting a strict study schedule. “I made sure to revise all chapters regularly without putting unnecessary pressure on myself,” he added.

Imran’s father is a journalist, and his mother is a homemaker. “I have always aimed for excellence,” Imran said. “In the last two months, continuous mock tests and 8 to 10 hours of daily preparation helped me gain confidence.” He credited his success to his parents, sister, teachers, and the faculty members of Narayana Coaching Center.
