Jamshedpur: Kunal Sarangi meets Chief Secretary regarding Bagbera water crisis

Jamshedpur, Dec. 7: State spokesperson of BJP and former MLA Kunal Sarangi met Chief Secretary of Jharkhand Government Sukhdev Singh and placed many public problems in front of him. A BJP delegation also submitted a memorandum to the Chief Secretary regarding the water crisis prevailing in the Bagbera area and the resolution of various issues of Jadugora UCIL Mines.
On the other hand, BJP’s request was made to the Chief Secretary to remove the water crisis in UCIL Jadugora Mines 2016-17, Bagbera. Taking immediate initiative, he ordered the Secretary (PhD) to prepare the estimate within a week. After this, BJP workers also met Secretary Prashant Kumar.
The Departmental Secretary assured that the estimate and tender for the new motor and new filtration system would be floated within a week. Once the filtration system is started, pure drinking water supply will be restored to the residents of Bagbera and in future the way for getting water from JUSCO will also be opened. Here late in the evening, former MLA Maneka Sardar met the Superintending Engineer of Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Shishir Soren.
In the delegation meeting the Chief Secretary, State Vice President of BJP Aja Morcha, Vimal Baitha, BJP Bagbera Mandal President Sanjay Singh and Deputy Chief of Central Bagbera Dhananjay Singh, Vikram Singh were present along with others.
