Jamshedpur, July 13: A painting competition for school students on the theme, ‘Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat’ was organized by Bharat Petroleum at Rajendra & Sons fuel station in Parsudih on Thursday in which 55 participants from various schools participated. The competitors were divided into two groups in which Group-1 comprised students between classes IV and VI and Group-2 included those of classes VII and VIII.
The Group-1 winners were Suman Gupta (first), Sawan Sardar (second) and Shivani Bhumij (third).
The Roup-2 top three included Saraswati Sardar (first), Kunti Hembrom (second) and Sarita Rai (third). KSMS student Pranika Gupta was awarded a Special Prize.
Bharat Petroleum officer Nitish Kumar urged the students to spread awareness on cleanliness. Rajendra Shah Raj of Rajendra & Sons administered the oath of maintaining cleanliness at home, locality and school to the students. Social worker Mangal Patro, Pragati Gupta, Priyanka Gupta, Vikas Kumar, Amit Santra, Lakhan Vikrant were present at the event. Rajendra Shah Raj extended the vote of thanks.
