Jamshedpur karatekas to participate in International B-G Karate Championship in Bangladesh


 Jamshedpur, Dec 25:A total of six Karatekas of All India Goju Ryu Karate Do Federation (affiliated to Karate Association of India) have been selected to participate in the International B-G Karate Championship, B. K.S.P. Sports Village (Indoor Stadium), to be held at Dhaka, Bangladesh from 28-30 Dec. The championship is organised by Bangladesh Goju Ryu Karate Federation, under Shihan Khaled Mansur Chowdhury, Organising Secretary and Chief Coach of Bangladesh Karate as per the guidelines issued by Bangladesh Government.

The rules and regulations of the World Karate Federation will be followed. In this Championship the Chief Referee will be Shihan B. R. Mitra, who is a AKF & WKF qualified Referee is from Nepal. Shihan L. Nageshwar Rao, will participate as Referee & Chief Coach in this Championship. The following Karatekas will participate in this championship : Neeraj Kumar, 58 Kg., 18 Yrs. Black Belt, Kata & Kumite Category – Jamshedpur, Narayan Tanti, 75 Kg., 18 Yrs. Black Belt, Kata & Kumite Category – Kharagpur, Adarsh Kumar Singh, 50 Kg., 17 Yrs. Black Belt, Kata & Kumite Category – Jamshedpur, Pranab Paul, 50 Kg., 18 Yrs. Black Belt, Kata & Kumite Category – Jamshedpur, Arsh Paul, 50 Kg., 16 Yrs. Black Belt, Kata & Kumite Category – Noamundi, Ms. Karnisha Das, 55 Kg., 18 Yrs. Colour Belt, Kata & Kumite Category – Jamshedpur.

The following Karatekas: Neeraj Kumar, Adarsh Kumar Singh and Pranab Paul will perform Team Kata & Bunkai.
