Atal ji’s ideals will continue to inspire us for centuries: Raghubar

Jamshedpur, Dec 25: Celebrating the 97th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee as ‘Good Governance Day’ under the leadership of Dinesh Kumar, former president of Bharatiya Janata Party, a blood donation camp was organised at Cable Welfare Club, Golmuri.

 Blood donors enthusiastically participated in the blood donation camp organized from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday. A total of 373 units of blood were collected in the camp.

Earlier, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das duly inaugurated the programme as the chief guest. MP Bidhyut Baran Mahto, former MLA Maneka Sardar, Kunal Sarangi were present as special guests. The chief guests paid obeisance to Atal ji by offering flowers to the images, while the camp was duly inaugurated by lighting the island. The entire venue was decorated with Atal ji’s paintings and cut-outs depicting Atal ji’s presence.

Das said that Vajpayee ji will continue to spread his light like the sun. His ideals and personality will continue to inspire us for centuries. We will always be indebted to Atal ji for the construction of Jharkhand. He has infinite memories, which are not possible to sum up in the pages.

On this occasion, former president of Dinesh Kumar, while highlighting the biography of Atalji, said that a life full of calm nature and simplicity made Vajpayee ji a popular leader all over the world. His whole life is always a source of inspiration for BJP workers. There was good participation of youth and women donating blood for the first time in the blood donation camp.
