Jamshedpur Kannelite Hotel director dies in road accident

Jamshedpur, Jan 18: Mithilesh Jha, director of Hotel Kannelite in Sakchi, died in a road accident on Tuesday morning. Jha, along with two other directors of the hotel, Nirmal Deep and Vinod Singh had gone to Raigarh in Chhattisgarh. While returning from there to Jamshedpur, his car crashed on Tuesday morning in Raigarh itself. During the mishap, Jha died on the spot, while Nirmal Deep and Vinod Singh also suffered serious injuries. The condition of Nirmal Deep is also very serious.

As soon as the news spread, there was a wave of mourning in Jamshedpur. Mithilesh Jha’s elder brother Amlesh Jha, one of the directors of the hotel, fainted. The victim, Mithilesh Jha was a native of Darbhanga. He completed his higher school education from Raj High School in Darbhanga from 1990 to 1994, while he pursued his graduation from Lalit Narayan Mithila University located in Darbhanga, Bihar. He got married on February 7, 2007, to Dr Aarti Jha, with whom they had two children.

Kannelite  Hotels Private Limited was incorporated on 21st January 2016. Situated adjacent to Jama Masjid in Sakchi, the hotel was inaugurated by former Chief Minister Raghubar Das. Earlier it was Sakchi Sarai, which was in ruins for years. The tourism department of the Jharkhand government had given Hotel Kannelite a lease to run the hotel. Mithilesh Jha had earlier become the director of Kannelite Facility Management Services Pvt Ltd.

At that time the company was operating the catering at Hotel Ginger located in Bistupur of Tata Group. After this this company started the business of catering service in many companies. His company also runs Kannelite Foundation, through which social service works are done.
