Tata Steel UISL braces up for Founder’s Day

Jamshedpur, Feb 19: With preparations on for Founder’s Day celebrations from March 3, Jubilee Park has remained the cynosure of all eyes because of its light decorations through decades. Citizens of Jamshedpur and other places crowd the Park come evening to get lost in ‘Alice’s Wonderland’ of mesmerizing light patterns. But creating these light effects takes time.

The Tata Steel UISL ordered the Jubilee Park gates for traffic from Sunday, February 19 till Tuesday, March 7 to carry out decorative work in preparation for Founder’s Day celebration on March 3. A notification to the effect has been put up at the gates to inform citizens.

However, pedestrians including morning walkers can enter the Jubilee Park. People driving to Sonari will have to take the Baugh-e-Jamshed roundabout and turn on the Straight Mile Road to reach their destination.

The entire city is transported to a magical world with light decors at every roundabout, streets and landmark buildings that stand out with tales of the city’s growth and changing geographical features scripted by TISCO Ltd and handed down through generations of Tata Steel times that has ensured a rich tradition of growing industry and happy citizens living under the sky of Jamshedpur.
