Jamshedpur: JNAC team to check waste dumping at Domuhani

Jamshedpur,  April 30: According to the guidelines of JNAC Special Officer Sanjay Kumar, teams of sanitation supervisors and security personnel are deployed in two shifts day and night at the temporary dump site located at Domuhani. Punishment is being imposed under the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016 by confiscating all those vehicles which do illegal dumping of garbage under the strict instructions of the Special Officer.

Strict decisions are being taken to improve the condition of the temporary dumpsite at Domuhani, so that the general public does not have to face problems due to the increase in garbage. The garbage dumped on the roadside at Marine Drive was pushed back from the main road with the help of JCB, Hyva and excavatators.. Along with this, strict monitoring is being done in the dumpsite through guards, sanitary supervisors, sanitary inspectors in two shifts.

In the dumpsite, it is being taken care that there is no illegal garbage dumping on the main road, garbage is not being set on fire by anti-social elements, door to door service by seizing and punishing the vehicles caught doing illegal dumping. The emphasis is on connecting with
