Jamshedpur, July 6: Backed by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha leaders, the 76 workers of the production unit of Ghadi Detergent situated in Bhilaipahari staged a demonstration before the office of the Deputy Labour Commissioner on Wednesday to demand their final settlement. The workers alleged that the company management had given their settlement amount despite having closed its Jamshedpur production unit six months ago. They said they would continue the agitation till the final settlement dues are clearned.
The JMM leaders said they had asked the company officials to disburse the settlement amounts as soon as possible.
