Singhbhum Chamber, Jamshedpur Jewellers Association holds meeting with SSP concerning Sonari robbery case

Jamshedpur, May 27: The recent robbery at MB Jewelers near Aerodrome Bazaar under Sonari police station has prompted a swift response from both law enforcement and local business organizations. The robbery, occurring in broad daylight amidst the election fervor, has posed a significant challenge to the authorities, who are now intensifying efforts to apprehend the culprits.

In response to the incident, a delegation representing the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Jamshedpur Jewelers Association convened with Senior Superintendent of Police, East Singhbhum, Kishore Kaushal (I.P.S.), at his residential office. The delegation, led by Chamber President Vijay Anand Moonka and comprising prominent members from both organizations, demanded urgent action from SSP Kaushal to apprehend the perpetrators and recover the stolen goods.

Expressing concern over the audacity of the crime during the election season, Chamber President Moonka emphasized the need for immediate attention to the matter and increased police presence in markets to prevent such incidents in the future.

In response, SSP Kaushal assured the delegation of the district police’s commitment to apprehending the criminals. He disclosed that a specialized team has been formed to trace the suspects using suspicious mobile numbers, with efforts underway to locate them, including a search in Bihar. SSP Kaushal reiterated the seriousness of the matter and expressed confidence in resolving the case swiftly, promising justice for the victims and recovery of the stolen goods.

The meeting between the delegation and SSP Kaushal lasted approximately 45 minutes, during which various city issues, including law and order and traffic management, were discussed. SSP Kaushal assured the delegation of addressing these concerns through an upcoming meeting with the Chamber, demonstrating the police department’s dedication to ensuring community safety and addressing citizen grievances.

The delegation, comprising representatives from the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Jamshedpur Jewelers Association, included Bipin Adesara, Honorary General Secretary Manav Kedia, Vice President PRW Abhishek Aggarwal Goldy, and Secretaries Anshul Ringsiya, Vinod Sharma, Kamal Singhania, Chetan Adesara among others.
