Jamshedpur: In a proactive effort to address public grievances, District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal held a Janata Darbar at the Collectorate, where he met and listened to the concerns of common citizens. More than 50 complainants approached him with issues ranging from road construction and property disputes to employment concerns and government scheme benefits.

During the session, citizens raised matters related to ancestral property division, closure of RO plants, private school admissions, shop allocation in Apna Bazaar, Anganwadi payments, traditional Gram Pradhan approvals, residential certificates, BPL cards, wage payments, and employment opportunities. The Deputy Commissioner assured the complainants of timely and appropriate action after due investigation.

Several grievances were addressed on the spot, while others were forwarded to the respective departments with strict instructions for prompt resolution. The Deputy Commissioner directed officials to coordinate with block offices and relevant departments to ensure transparency and accountability in the redressal process.
