Prompt Police Action Leads to Safe Recovery of Kairav Gandhi after 14 days
Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur police administration acted swiftly and in a well-coordinated manner to safely recover Kairav Gandhi, bringing him back to his family residence at around 4:30 am on Tuesday. Following his safe return, the family expressed immense relief and heartfelt gratitude to the police and district administration for their dedicated efforts.
Speaking on the incident, City SP Shivashish Kumar said that given the sensitivity of the case, it was treated as a top priority from the outset. Immediately after receiving information, special teams were constituted to conduct technical surveillance, identify possible locations, and carry out continuous field operations. He said that timely decisions and effective teamwork played a crucial role in ensuring the safe recovery of Kairav Gandhi.
Kairav’s father, Devang Gandhi, also expressed sincere thanks to the local police and the Jharkhand Police administration for their unwavering cooperation and commitment. He said police officials remained in constant touch with the family throughout the incident and extended support at every stage, which strengthened their confidence that their son would return home safely.
According to police officials, the operation was carried out swiftly under the leadership of the SSP, with close coordination between the City SP and Rural SP. Multiple teams of Jharkhand Police worked round the clock along with the local police, acting on technical evidence, inputs, and ground-level intelligence. Due to the vigilance and tireless efforts of the teams, the operation was completed successfully without any untoward incident.
The police administration has appealed to the public and well-wishers to avoid gathering at Kairav Gandhi’s residence and to respect the family’s privacy. Officials said that after a prolonged period of stress, the family wishes to spend private time together, and public cooperation is essential.
