Jamshedpur: On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, the festival of lights, Javed Habib Salon Kadma, in collaboration with the Durgadas Dutta Memorial Foundation, extended heartwarming celebrations to the elders residing at Ashirwad Bhawan Old Age Home.
Javed Habib’s team continued their tradition of spreading joy by providing free services to the elderly residents, a gesture of kindness and compassion that echoes the spirit of Diwali. This year’s initiative follows the success of a similar effort undertaken last year.
The elderly residents were treated to a range of services, including haircuts, shaves, hair coloring, facials, and nail cutting. Notably, the team at Javed Habib Salon Kadma went the extra mile, providing facials to elderly women above 80 years of age, creating a memorable Diwali experience for them. Overjoyed, the elders expressed their gratitude to the Salon Kadma team and blessed them for their thoughtful gesture.
The Durgadas Dutta Memorial Foundation, in collaboration with Javed Habib’s team, organized a delightful feast for the elders, ensuring they had a scrumptious Diwali meal. The campus was adorned with vibrant rangoli, and the air echoed with the sound of Diwali crackers being joyously burnt alongside the elders.
The program witnessed the presence of esteemed individuals, including Former DIG Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Saurabh Dutta, Dr. Shazia Parveen, Shahzad Qureshi, and others who actively participated in the festivities. Their presence added to the joy of the occasion, making it a memorable Diwali for all.
