Jamshedpur: Hurlung water supply project survey begins

Jamshedpur, July 7: Survey work of Hurlung water supply project is on in full swing. It is being carried out by a city-based company. The project design and drawing will be prepared by the company. As per officials of drinking water and sanitation department, the work is expected to get over by the first week of August this year.

Once the design and drawing gets approval from the state government, further process would begin to carry out the project. The people of five villages, Lupungdih, Manpeeta, Nutandih and Hurlung and one more village would get drinking water under the project. Local residents had long been demanding speedy implementation of the project. Local MLA Mangal Kalindi played a pivotal role in getting government nod for the project.
