Jamshedpur, Sept 24: This year’s Durga Puja celebrations at Hind Club, Ranikudar, are set to present a unique confluence of devotion and patriotism. The Puja Committee is constructing a grand pandal themed on “Operation Sindoor,” which has already become a major attraction for devotees and patriots alike.

The 40-foot-high pandal, costing an estimated Rs 17 lakh, is being crafted by 35 skilled artisans from Chandannagar, West Bengal. The idol of Goddess Durga alone, valued at around Rs 3.75 lakh, will add to the grandeur of the celebration.

The main entrance of the pandal is designed in the form of India Gate, filling visitors with patriotic fervor right from the start. Inside, the décor will showcase spectacular visuals of Indian Army soldiers, drones, and Rafale fighter jets. A 3D display will also narrate India’s fight against terrorism, depicting terrorist incidents and the nation’s victory in sequence, symbolizing strength and resilience.

For the safety of devotees, the committee has installed 12 CCTV cameras around the pandal and deployed additional police personnel and volunteers. Around 150 members of the Hind Club Ranikudar Puja Committee are actively engaged in ensuring the smooth organization of the event.

The committee has also arranged for the free distribution of offerings to nearly 10,000 devotees daily throughout Navratri. Organizers emphasized that the pandal is not just about devotion but also about spreading awareness and instilling pride in the country.

Artisan Ranjit, who led the designing, added that the Operation Sindoor theme was challenging, but every effort had been made to present it successfully by blending technical skill with artistic creativity.

Visitors are expected to throng the pandal, not only for its divine ambiance but also for its powerful patriotic message. With a blend of spirituality, artistry, and national pride, the Ranikudar Puja pandal promises to be one of the most memorable highlights of this year’s Sharadiya Navratri celebrations.
