Jamshedpur, July 26: On Friday, heavy rainfall led to significant waterlogging at MGM Hospital, Kolhan’s largest government facility. The flooding affected multiple areas, including the pediatric department and the laundry. The ingress of water into the ward near the emergency department through the window caused considerable inconvenience to patients.

Doctors and staff experienced difficulties navigating the hospital premises due to the waterlogged conditions. After the rain subsided, hospital staff worked to remove the water. Patients reported recurring issues with water entering the wards during rains, highlighting ongoing concerns about the hospital’s infrastructure.
