Jamshedpur Gurudwara donation box stolen

Jamshedpur, April 4: Thieves stole the donation box by breaking the lock of Gurudwara located near Sido-Kanho Maidan under Bagbeda police station.

The theft came to light when Maninder Kaur, the sevak of the Gurdwara, reached to open the Gurdwara on Tuesday morning. They found that the lock of the main gate was broken. On going inside, it was found that the donation box kept inside was missing. The back door was also open.

 He immediately informed this to other people and the police was informed. Maninder Kaur told that she reaches to open the Gurudwara every day. After cleaning, lessons are started in the Gurudwara. Today when she reached the Gurudwara, she found that there had been a theft in the Gurudwara.

Maninder told that the donation box is opened every year on Baisakhi. There will be around 30 to 35 thousand rupees in the donation box. The thieves also took the donation box with them. Local people told that the thieves have also stolen some goods from a nearby temple.
