Jamshedpur, Nov 21: Local talents in Jamshedpur are shining bright. Covid-19 has forced students and art enthusiasts to explore their creativity and produce artistic beauties.
Indian Idol star and City’s own singer Nidhi Prasad along with students of Karim City College created a buzz on YouTube with their recreation of the famous Chhath song. They have recreated the popular Chhath song ‘Jode Jode falwa’ originally sung by famous Bhojpuri singer Pawan Kumar and Palak.
Within three days of its release, the song has managed to achieve 15K views and over 2.3K likes. Nidhi Prasad, who featured in last year’s famous reality show of Indian Idol (season 11) has sang this song. She also featured in top 15 and is an alumna of Jamshedpur Women’s college. The music of this recreated version is given by Rohit Prasad, a final semester student of B.Com, Karim City College. Mix and Mastering of song has been done by semester 1 student of B.SC (Zoo Hons) Yuvraj Anubhav. The Cinematography and editing is done by Yash Singh Rajput (Unofficial filmmaker-Youtube Channel) who is a student of St. Joseph College in Bangalore.
The recording of the song is done in Yuvraj’s own Arihant Recording studios. The song has been shot in Govindpur’s Bengpahad and Pahadbhanga in Hatha. “From years, we have seen the same chhath songs sung the same way. We wanted to create something new in a way that also goes well with the modern generation too. So I and Rohit thought of recreating this song in our way,” said Yuvraj.
The shooting of the song was completed within 3 days and was released on YouTube channel ‘Blank-4 now musics’. The Channel which was recently started has gained more than 500 subscribers after this song.
