Jamshedpur, July 21: Sneha Kumari, who brought pride to the nation by winning two gold medals at the International Strengthlifting and Incline Bench Press Championship 2025 held in Thailand, was warmly welcomed at Tatanagar Railway Station today. The felicitation was led by Amrita Mishra, District President of JDU Mahila Morcha.

Speaking on the occasion, Mishra expressed immense pride and joy in welcoming Sneha, saying it was a moment of honour for her as a woman. She hailed Sneha Kumari as a living example of Nari Shakti (women power), symbolizing strength, determination and capability.

“This is a matter of great pride for all of us in Jamshedpur. Sneha is not just the daughter of this city but a shining star of Jharkhand and India,” she added. Mishra further said that Sneha’s achievement would inspire many more women to break barriers and strive for excellence
