Jamshedpur, July 10: In a significant development marking the Platinum Jubilee of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), a new car parking space was inaugurated near the Chamber Bhawan in Bistupur on Thursday. The facility, developed with the support of Tata Steel, aims to address the long-standing parking woes of the Chamber and is seen as a symbol of the growing cooperation between Tata Steel and the business community of Jamshedpur.

Tata Steel’s Vice President (Corporate Services) D.B. Sundara Ramam inaugurated the facility in presence of Chief Corporate Services Pranay Sinha, SCCI Vijay Anand Moonka, and Head of Tata Steel’s Land Department Amit Singh.

Speaking at the event, Sundara Ramam described the inauguration as a meaningful moment that signifies a deeper collaboration between Tata Steel and the Chamber for the overall development of Jamshedpur. “The Platinum Jubilee is a major milestone for any institution. The Chamber’s strength lies in its strong foundation and the dedicated leadership of its past and present members. Like Tata Steel, the Chamber shares the vision of inclusive growth and entrepreneurial development, and we are happy to walk this journey together,” he said.

He emphasized that the lack of parking has been a growing concern for Chamber members and visitors, and Tata Steel, keeping the needs of the local business ecosystem in mind, provided a suitable parking space in the heart of Bistupur. “This new facility will ease accessibility and support smoother functioning of Chamber events,” he added.

Tata Steel MD Narendran had also visited the Chamber and reiterated Jamshedpur’s strategic role in business development. Going forward, we aim to play an active role in boosting tourism in Kolhan and Jharkhand. A major Tourism Conclave will be held in Jamshedpur next month, with the Chamber playing a pivotal role.”

  1. New Jamshedpur International Airport, also known as Dhalbhumgarh Airpor5t, is the proposed new airport located in Dhalbhumgarh to serve the city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand State, India.
The new airport will be constructed on the site of an abandoned World War II airfield approximately 60km from Jamshedpur.
Is there any hope to get Dhalbhumgarh Airport. Who are worst suffering – business community and general public. Tata Steel is not bothered asvthey are having their own airport ar Sonari.
