Seraikela, Feb 25: MP Geeta Koda visited Adityapur to address various community issues. She met MIG Colony residents of Ward 17, who had been enduring water crisis over a long period. She assured the residents that the crisis would be resolved soon. The residents, led by Congress Working Committee District President Ambuj Kumar and Water Crisis Resolution Committee Convener Shankar Dayal Mishra, submitted a memorandum to the parliamentarian urging swift action from the Municipal Corporation. In response, Geeta Koda emphasized the urgency of the matter, warning of potential public agitation if left unaddressed. She reassured Ward No. 17 residents of her solidarity with their cause.
Geeta Koda visited the family of Fakira Sona, a victim of a vehicle accident in the Adityapur industrial area, and offered her condolences and support to the bereaved family. She later attended a volleyball tournament at Road No 16-17 as the chief guest with Ambuj Kumar as a special guest. During her visit to Adityapur, she was accompanied by party and community leaders who too promised to address local concerns.
