Jamshedpur: Fraud arrested for duping 176 people

Jamshedpur, Sept 1: Police arrested one Jyoti Kumar alias Vicky for allegedly duping 176 persons in the name of getting them jobs in Tata Steel. He had long been absconding, police said.

Cops said one of the victims of fraud, Raju Sao, had lodged an FIR against the accused. When cops registered the case and got the bank account of the accused frozen, the accused escaped. He was later found to be in Ranchi, cops said.

In this connection, police had earlier arrested one Amit Kumar Singh. The accused persons used to frequently change their locations and mobile numbers to evade arresting.
