Jamshedpur, May 31: Counting of votes cast in the recently held Panchayat elections is on in full swing. Results are being announced on a piecemeal basis. In Kitadih North panchayat, the former Mukhiya Rani Jarik was disappointed when she was defeated by Manoj Murmu. She reportedly started taking some articles not her own but belonging to the public on two trucks. Later, local residents seized one of the trucks and took it to Parsudih police station. A ruckus was created consequently. They alleged that the former Mukhiya should have honestly returned all articles and documents belonging to the public after losing the Panchayat elections.
