Jamshedpur Flower Show from December 30

Sumita Nupur appointed President of Horticultural Society Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: After a gap of two years, the annual Flower Show will be held from December 30.

Annual General Meeting of the Horticultural Society Jamshedpur was held  at Kudy Mohanty Auditorium Kadma, Jamshedpur. The flagship events of the Horticulture Society are the Annual Flower Show and Garden of the year besides playing an active role in the Founder’s day celebration at Jamshedpur.

The welcome address was provided by Mrs. Sumita Nupur President, Horticulture society Jamshedpur. She welcomed Ruchi Narendran, the Chairperson of the society and all participating members. 

Srikant Katare, Treasurer of the Horticultural Society Jamshedpur placed the Annual Audit report and highlighted the salient features of the Balance Sheet. The comparatives from the last Audited Financial Statements were also provided during the meeting. Presentation of secretarial report was made by Ranjan Nayak, Joint Secretary HSJ.

During the meeting,  Ruchi Narendran, Chairperson Horticulture Society Jamshedpur announced the members of the new executive committee which is as follows: President Sumita Nupur, Vice Presidents Baren Maity Kamal Kishore, Traffic DSP, Jsr, Pranay Sinha.

Secretary Arvind Kumar Sinha, Joint Secretaries Anuradha Mohapatra, Jayanto Ghosh. Treasurer Bipin Kumar, Asst Treasurer Jagdeep Singh Saini, Coordinator Ranjan Kr. Nayak and Girdhari Gopal Rawat

Sumita Nupur spoke about the plans of the society for the upcoming year. Thereafter  Narendran addressed the members of the society followed by the announcement of the dates of the next flower show to be held from 30th December 2022 till 2nd January 2023. She also spoke about the commitment of society in spreading the importance of horticulture awareness through organic means.
