Jamshedpur, Sep 6: The Jamshedpur police have successfully resolved the Shaktinath Singh murder case that occurred in Gaur Basti, Mango. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kaushal Kishore announced the arrest of five individuals involved in the case, including Mantu Singh Sardar alias Bhumij (24), Chiranjit Kumar Modak alias Kali (23), Kishan Namta (19), Manhati Singh Sardar alias Chhotu (26), and Ishwar Singh. These suspects, all from the Mango area, have been charged and are currently in judicial custody. The police have recovered a country-made pistol, a bullet, and four mobile phones from the arrested criminals.

According to SSP Kishore, Shaktinath Singh was murdered due to personal enmity related to a land dispute. The firing incident, which led to Singh’s death, was reportedly orchestrated by the criminals due to their ongoing disputes over land ownership. The criminals had previously occupied several lands belonging to Amarnath Singh and had been demanding money for buying and selling these properties. The shooting was planned as a result of these disputes, with the aim of eliminating Shakti Singh, a strategy that ultimately led to his murder. The police are continuing their investigation and expect to uncover more details about the involvement of other criminals in this case.
