Jamshedpur Firing: Railway Parking Contractor Shot at, shooters spotted in CCTV footage 

Jamshedpur: In a shocking incident near Tatanagar Station, a railway parking contractor was shot and critically last night has raised concerns about the safety and security of railway personnel and commuters in the area. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the motive behind the attack and apprehend the perpetrators.

Railway parking contractor Neeraj Dubey was injured after a gang of criminals launched an armed attack on him at the Tatanagar parking area under railway police station  area on Friday night.

Dubey who sustained bullet injuries in the neck and right hand has been admitted to the Tata Main Hospital where his condition is described as out of danger. He was shifted to ward.

According to the CCTV footage that the armed miscreants were wearing black jeans and blue shirts. First, he was seen taking out a weapon from his pocket in the parking stand. After that he went to run. He came back again only after a few seconds. And chased by three people. During the chase, he is seen passing through the tempo.

In the case of shooting Neeraj Dubey, a case has been registered at the Tatanagar railway station on the statement of Neeraj’s cousin Aman Tiwari. An FIR has been registered in the case against five including accused Santosh Singh’s brother Vishal, Ashutosh, Raja Pagla. Apart from this, some unknowns have also been included.

As soon as the condition of Neeraj Dubey improved, he was shifted to the normal ward of TMH in the afternoon. The doctors of the hospital say that the bullet was pulled out after touching Neeraj’s neck.

Local authorities and railway police were immediately notified of the incident and rushed to the scene. The injured contractor was swiftly taken to a nearby hospital, where he is currently undergoing treatment. His condition is reported to be serious but stable.

The police have initiated a thorough investigation into the incident, examining CCTV footage from the area and questioning witnesses to gather crucial information. While the motive behind the attack remains unclear, initial speculations suggest that it may be related to a dispute or a targeted act against the contractor.
