Jamshedpur Firing: Gang war resurfaces as Raja Singh shot dead in retaliation for Pradeep’s Murder

Jamshedpur: In a disturbing turn of events, the streets of Jamshedpur witnessed another episode of gang violence, with the targeted killing of Raja Singh on Mango’s Post Office Road. Riding bikes, assailants ambushed Raja in broad daylight, forcing him to seek refuge in a nearby gift shop. Shockingly, he used a child as a shield, but the criminals callously shot him and fled the scene. Raja succumbed to his injuries upon reaching TMH for treatment.
City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat and Mango police station in-charge Vinay Kumar initiated an investigation, recovering two shell casings from the crime scene.
The deceased, Raja Singh, was associated with the gang involving Taklu Lohar and Ganesh Singh, both of whom met their demise in a recent Sitaramdera firing incident.
Notably, Raja’s wife, Babita Singh, faced legal consequences for her role in the murder of Pradeep Singh from the Amarnath gang.
Sources reveal that the same assailants responsible for Taklu’s death targeted Raja, seeking vengeance for Pradeep’s murder. Chhotu, Rahul Rai, Ankit, Rahul Singh, Arjun Bachha, and others are suspected to be behind both killings, reigniting fears of a gang war in the city.
Raja, accompanied by his friend Aman, was ambushed while heading for a haircut, with Aman recounting the assailants stopping them on bikes before the fatal shooting.
The assailants reportedly fired five to six rounds, marking a dangerous escalation in the ongoing gang conflict.
