Jamshedpur: FIR on assault case in SSP office premises

Jamshedpur, May 27: An FIR has been lodged at Sitaramdera police station based on the statement of BJP leader Alauddin Siddiqui regarding an assault that occurred outside the court premises under the jurisdiction of Sitaramdera police station. The FIR names Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Mukesh Singh, Ujjwal Singh, Abhilasha Singh, and Nisha Kumari, all residents of Kadma, along with unidentified individuals as the accused in the case.

According to Alauddin’s statement to the police, he had visited the court for his work when the accused allegedly attempted to kidnap him while physically assaulting him. Alauddin managed to escape and promptly reached the police station. After registering the FIR, the police initiated an investigation into the matter. Additionally, after the court proceedings, Sanjeev Singh, who had come to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office to file a complaint regarding the incident, was subjected to an attack. A clash between both parties ensued within the premises of the SSP office. Subsequently, the Bistupur police arrived at the scene and escorted everyone to the police station. Sanjeev sustained injuries during the altercation.
