Jamshedpur, January 9: Jamshedpur FC completed their final training session at the Flatlet Training Ground on Saturday, gearing up for their highly anticipated opening match against Mumbai City FC in the Indian Super League. The clash is scheduled for January 12 at 7:30 PM at the Mumbai Football Arena.
The team, under the guidance of Head Coach Khalid Jamil, has been training intensively following their victory over Bengaluru FC. Currently positioned fourth on the ISL table, Jamshedpur FC will face a determined Mumbai City FC, who sit in fifth place, in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
Wrapping up their training on a positive note, the team is confident and ready to take on the challenge. Speaking after the session, Jordan Murray said, “The training has been great so far. We’ve been preparing hard since the Bengaluru FC match. Everyone is mentally ready for the season, and now it’s about ensuring that all our hard work translates into a strong performance on the field against Mumbai City FC.”
Jamshedpur FC will depart for Mumbai on January 10 and hold a pre-match session on January 11. Following the match, the team will return to Jamshedpur to prepare for their next home game against Mohun Bagan Super Giant on January 17.
