Jamshedpur, July 12: Jamshedpur FC’s Reserve and Youth teams return to action this week as both the teams will play their respective opponents on Tuesday to continue their respective JSA Football League campaigns.
In the Premier Division, JFC Reserves will face Andhra Sporting Union after registering an impressive 3-1 victory over Tata Steel in their last fixture. The young Men of Steel delivered a commanding display, combining attacking intent with defensive discipline to claim their first win of the campaign.
Having opened the season with a draw before securing all three points against Tata Steel, the Reserves will look to build consistency as they take on Andhra Sporting Union. Another positive result would strengthen their position in the league while continuing the development of the club’s emerging talent in a competitive environment.
Meanwhile, JFC Youth will travel to Telco to take on Katin Football Club in the A Division. The youngsters showed tremendous character in their previous match against Jharkhand Bayar, battling to a 1-1 draw despite playing with ten men for much of the second half following a red card.
JFC Youth will now aim to convert that resilience into a winning performance against Katin Football Club.
