Jamshedpur FC Reserves recruit seven players including three from Jharkhand

Jamshedpur, Jan. 21: Jamshedpur FC Reserves have signed seven new players for their team which is competing in the 2nd Division I-League tournament.

With the focus on developing local talent, the team has signed three players, Goal Keeper Sanjay Baskey, Defender Ghanshyam Murmu and Midfielder Jaipal Singh who are from Jharkhand.

Sanjay Baskey is a resident of Kedo village in Sundernagar under East SInghbhum district. His father Nandlal Baskey is a farmer while his mother Saraswati Baskey is a housewife.


Jaipal Singh Sirka hails from Tangar Tirilpee village, Kumardungi, in West Singhbhum district. Jaipal’s parents are Bir Singh Sirka and Sukhmati Sirka.


Jamshedpur FC CEO Mukul Chowdhary further informed at a press meet that the Reserves team had played two matches that resulted in two narrow losses. The Reserves team boys take on fellow Indian Super League team, ATK in Kolkata on 24th January.


Beides the three new players from Jharkhand the other new recruits include- Subhankar Sana � Winger � West Bengal, Irfan Khan � Defender � Utter Pradesh, Sorabh Akhtar � Striker � Maharashtra and Marchstarfield Marbawiang � Midfielder � North East.
