Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Football Club players on Thursday got a new training ground at their accommodation flatlets opposite Kadma Police Station.
Sunil Bhaskaran, vice president (Corporate Services) Tata Steel vice president corporate services and JFC head coach Cesar Ferrando jointly inaugurated the training ground by cutting the ribbon.
Sunil Bhaskaran, Cesar Ferrando, JFC technical staff, Tata Steel officials, local players including Mobashir Rahmen and Gourav Mukhi along with team’s Spanish star Carlos Calvo was also present.
It may be noted that club owner Tata Steel remodelled the 84 rooms at a G+3 service apartment complex in Kadma which is less than a kilometre from Tata Football Academy, which is the temporary practice venue of the Jamshedpur FC players.
The flatlets boast of an air-conditioned dining hall, recreational space, gymnasium, massage room etc.
