Jamshedpur: Jamshedpur Football Club, in collaboration with Hill Top School, Telco, will organise Grassroots Festival at Sumant Moolgaokar Stadium on Sunday, 5th August. Ravi Singh, Head, HR, IR & Admin, Tata Motors, Jamshedpur will be the Chief Guest for the event.
The kids, their parents and the school are thrilled with the wonderful concept of the Fest.
Jamshedpur Football Club is a professional football club that competes in India�s top professional football league, the Indian Super League (managed under the aegis of the All India Football Federation).
JFC has commenced its Grassroots Football Program under which they aim to train boys and girls in the age group of 3-12 years and provide them scientific, age specific, fun based football training. The aim is to conduct a long term sustained football training program to create professional football players who would go on to represent the club and the country.
It is with the same objective in mind, that Jamshedpur Football Club & Hill Top School is collaborating to conduct the Grassroots Festival for the school students.
Grassroots programme allows access to football in a child�s own environment.
It attracts young players (3+ boys & girls) to the sport for all irrespective of caste, creed and gender. There is development before winning as football is a game full of fun: Football can be played anywhere, everywhere and it is the best teacher as it teaches us the values of life. Grassroots Football creates an enjoyable experience for kids.
It helps to connect, engage and mobilize the entire football community. It helps to work on actual development in Grassroots & Youth � Tangible results. Grassroots Football aims to foster the value and positive characteristics amongst the youth of Jamshedpur through football, setting up top quality football coaching centers which are affordable for children from all sections of society, creating future football superstars from Jamshedpur for India & having the strongest grassroots and youth football system in the country.
The fest will be inaugurated at 8.30am with pre lunch session extending upto 11.45am. The post lunch session will continue from 2.30pm to 5.45 pm.
