Jamshedpur: Indian Super league debutants Jamshedpur FC are leaving no stone unturned to make the 2017 season a memorable one. The team under the head coach Steve Coppell is training hard at the TFA ground in Bistupur. They continued their training on Sunday where the footballers received tips from the former Manchester United winger.
Assistant coach Walter Downes is also providing training to the players and was present at the TFA ground during the training session on Sunday.
With just over a month left for the fourth edition mega event to kick-off, the franchises are leaving no stone unturned in the build-up and will be part of training camps in European and other Asian countries.
Jamshedpur FC will be leaving for Thailand on November 11 for the pre-season training where they will play six matches against the top clubs and will spend around three weeks there before coming back to Jamshedpur on November 3 after which the team will leave for Guwahati for the first game of the ISL against the North East United FC on November 18.
The home ground of Jamshedpur FC, JRD Tata Sports Complex is also being revamped and upgraded as per standards of FIFA regulations, the international football governing body. The flood lights are being put in place along with 25,000 bucket seats.
