Jamshedpur: Family members demand firing accused arrest 

Jamshedpur, April 3: As Harpreet continues to evade arrest in the case of firing on Manpreetpal’s murder accused Naveen Singh near gate number three of the Jamshedpur court complex, Naveen’s family members went to meet the SSP on Monday.

They demanded the arrest of Harpreet. Relatives told that Harpreet was also named in the FIR by Naveen. Despite this the police did not arrest Harpreet. The relatives have alleged that the police have removed Harpreet’s name from the investigation. In this case, the police arrested a total of six people and sent them to jail on Sunday.

In this case, Jamshedpur city SP Vijay Shankar said that Harpreet has also been made an accused in the FIR lodged by Naveen, but Harpreet’s involvement has not come to the fore during the investigation. Harpreet had gone to the court on the day of the incident but he was not involved in the incident, due to which he has not been arrested. If Harpreet’s involvement is found in the investigation, then the police will arrest him too and send him to jail.
