Jamshedpur, Nov 5: A meeting of election expenditure monitoring committee was convened at Jamshedpur Collectorate on Tuesday in view of the upcoming state Assembly elections. It was chaired by deputy development commissioner B Maheshwari.
The DDC said all political parties should make available their election expenditure-related accounting details to the district election office as per the instructions of Election Commission of India. The committee formed under the expenditure cell will verify the details, he said.
The DDC informed the committee members about the minute details of their tasks and do�s and dont�s. He said any case of Model Code violation coming in their notice should be brought in the knowledge of the district election officials.
