Jamshedpur, Aug 31: Sunil Gupta, Panchayat Samiti member of Bagbera Colony, has urged Chief Minister Hemant Soren to intervene and clarify the reasons behind recurring errors in the Maiya Samman Yojna.
He said that despite beneficiaries submitting all necessary documents, payments were not being credited to their bank accounts. While some women received initial installments, subsequent payments had stopped, leaving many without benefits.
Gupta alleged that officials from block to district level had failed to provide solutions or even proper explanations, forcing women to repeatedly visit offices in frustration. He warned that if pending payments were not released soon, a movement would be launched with women beneficiaries, and full responsibility would lie with the concerned officials.
Beneficiary women expressed growing anger over the issue, demanding immediate corrective action to ensure they received their rightful entitlements under the scheme.
