Jamshedpur: Elderly money bag taken

Jamshedpur, August 14: A youth absconded after taking a bag of money from an old man in the post office road of Mango police station area.

The incident took place on Sunday evening at 7 pm. The old man reached the police station and informed the police about the incident. But the written complaint was not made till late night. It is said that the old man had kept a bag hanging on his bicycle. There were 65 thousand rupees in the bag

He was talking to someone while standing on his bicycle. Only then the young man came and ran away with the bag from the bicycle. They raised an alarm, but the youth was not caught. Mango police station in-charge Vinay Kumar told that an old man had come to the police station to give information about the theft of the money bag, but he has not given any written complaint, at present the police is investigating the matter.
