Jamshedpur: ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar’ brings government schemes to doorsteps

Jamshedpur: The ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ program was officially launched today in the East Singhbhum district, bringing government services and welfare schemes directly to the residents at their doorsteps. In alignment with the state government’s initiative, the program will run from August 30 to September 15, and aims to ensure that the benefits of various government schemes reach every eligible individual in the district.

The program’s inaugural day saw camps being set up in 18 panchayats and 2 municipal bodies across 10 blocks of the district. The District Magistrate-cum-Deputy Commissioner,  Ananya Mittal, inaugurated the camp at the East Kitadih Panchayat of Jamshedpur Sadar block. He was accompanied by Deputy Development Commissioner  Manish Kumar, Block Development Officer (BDO) Sudha Verma, Block Chief Pani Soren, Deputy Chief Shiv Hansda, and other local public representatives.

During the inauguration,  Mittal inspected the stalls set up by 20 different departments, interacting with officials and local residents to ensure smooth operations and effective communication of various schemes. In a symbolic gesture of commitment to environmental protection, the officials also planted saplings in the camp premises, reinforcing the message of sustainability alongside social welfare.

Addressing the attendees,  Mittal encouraged the community members to take full advantage of the ‘Aapki Yojana, Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar’ program. He emphasized the importance of participation, highlighting key schemes like the Abua Housing Scheme for the homeless, the Guruji Credit Card Scheme for financially disadvantaged students who have passed their 10th and 12th grades, and various other welfare initiatives such as the Mukhyamantri Rojgar Srijan Yojana for self-employment, Mukhyamantri Pashudhan Yojana for animal husbandry, Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana for girl students, and the Phulo Jhano Ashirwad Yojana aimed at helping women transition from selling Hadiya liquor to self-employment.

A key feature of the camp was the distribution of assets and certificates to beneficiaries of various government schemes.  Mittal, along with other senior officials and public representatives, handed out acceptance letters for the Abua Awas Yojana, benefits under the Savitribai Phule Kishori Samridhi Yojana, bicycles, caste and residential certificates, MNREGA job cards, and more. The distribution of these assets underscores the administration’s commitment to directly benefit the people through timely delivery of welfare measures.

In his inspection of the departmental stalls,  Mittal engaged directly with villagers to listen to their concerns and provide guidance on accessing government services. He instructed the block officials present to act promptly on any issues raised by the residents. “The primary goal of this program is to bridge the gap between the government and the people, ensuring that all eligible individuals receive the benefits they are entitled to,”  Mittal stated.

He also directed departmental officers and workers to assist villagers in understanding and applying for the schemes, and to ensure that all applications are processed efficiently. Emphasizing transparency and accountability,  Mittal reviewed the applications submitted during the camp and discussed the application process with both the applicants and the workers.

The camp facilitated applications for various services provided under the Service Guarantee Act, including caste and income certificates, social security schemes like the Sarvajan Pension, and the Jharkhand Chief Minister Maniyaan Samman Yojana. Additionally, there were efforts to register unorganized sector workers on the e-shram portal and address pending mutation and land survey cases.

To further enhance public awareness, the administration organized street plays and distributed pamphlets detailing the government’s welfare schemes, ensuring that information reached every corner of the community.
