Jamshedpur, December 4: Bhavana Sharma, resident of Adarsh Nagar Phase 10 of Sonari police station area, has accused the wife of DSP Sudhir Kumar posted in West Singhbhum district of assault.
Sudhir Kumar has also served in many police stations of Jamshedpur.
Bhavana Sharma’s son was bursting crackers on the road on Sunday night. Bhavna informed the police about the incident, after which the police reached the spot. Bhavna told that her children wanted to burst crackers, hence she had come on the road.
Meanwhile, DSP Sudhir Kumar’s wife came and started refusing to burst crackers and threatened them of having influence in police and also allegedly assaulted her.
Bhavna also suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Regarding the matter, Sonari police station in-charge Vishnu Raut said that at present no written complaint has been made in the matter.
