Jamshedpur, Feb 29: First Class Judicial Magistrate Narendra Kumar, has issued a notice for appearance on April 30, 2024 to Rajendra Prasad Singhania, a resident of Raghunathpur in Purulia, under Section 498A IPC . The case stems from a complaint filed on September 9, 2022, by Premlata Singhania of Jugsalai, alleging mental and physical torture, deprivation of food and drink, and a demand for Rs 5 lakh as dowry. Senior advocates Sudhir Kumar Pappu and Babita Jain presented the complainant’s case before the court.
