Jamshedpur: In a case of negligence and incorrect medical treatment, Dr. M Alam, a doctor in Jamshedpur, has been found guilty by Consumer Court Chairman Sunil Kumar. The decision was based on the evidence presented during the proceedings. The verdict includes an order for Dr. Alam to pay compensation amounting to Rs 4.5 lakh. The payment must be made as a lump sum within the stipulated period of 60 days.
Consumer justice prevailed in this case, with Chairman Sunil Kumar acknowledging the evidence that supported the claims of negligence and improper treatment against Dr. M Alam. The District Consumer Commission member, Rajeev Kumar, played a significant role in reaching this decision.
