Jamshedpur District Bar Association elections rescheduled for May 10

Jamshedpur, April 12: The election date for the Jamshedpur District Bar Association has undergone a change. Initially scheduled for April 20, the voting will now take place on May 10. This adjustment was announced by election observers, Amar Singh and Dharmendra Narayan, citing unavoidable circumstances.

According to the revised schedule, voting will be conducted from 8 am to 3 pm, with the counting of votes commencing at 6 pm. The election process will be overseen by Ram Subhag Singh, appointed as the election in-charge.

Nomination forms will be available for purchase on April 15, 16, and 18, from 10 am to 12 noon. The scrutiny of submitted forms will occur on April 20, following which the list of candidates will be released on April 23. Candidates will have the opportunity to withdraw their names until April 24. The final list of candidates will then be published on April 25.

To facilitate the smooth conduct of the elections, a three-member team, comprising Vinod Aggarwal, Virendra Singh, and Satish Chandra Baranwal, has been assembled. Additionally, a five-member observer team has been appointed, with members including JJM Raju, Manoj Singh, Sunil Singh, Ranjandhari Singh, and R Ramesh Rao. Notably, Ranjandhari Singh has been assigned the role of spokesperson for the team.
