Jamshedpur devotees leave Mahakumbh

Jamshedpur: A momentous occasion unfolded in Jamshedpur today as 65 devoted pilgrims from the Shri Shri 1008 Baba Barfani Seva Samiti, Kharangajhar Chowk, embarked on their long-awaited Mahakumbh Prayagraj Yatra. The journey, rich in faith and devotion, was flagged off amidst grand celebrations. The yatra promises to be a spiritually enriching experience, with stops at some of the holiest sites in India. The pilgrimage includes a sacred bath at the Prayagraj Kumbh Snan at Triveni Sangam, believed to cleanse sins and bestow divine blessings. Pilgrims will also visit Ayodhya Dham, the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram, for a darshan of Ramlala. Other key stops include Hanumangarhi, Ayodhya, where devotees will seek blessings from Bajrang Bali and Vindhyavasini Mata Mandir, where they will bow before Mata Vindhyavasini to receive her grace. The journey will culminate with a visit to Shri Kashi Vishwanath Mandir in Banaras, where pilgrims will seek the divine darshan of Lord Vishwanath and experience the mesmerizing Ganga Aarti.

The journey was launched by Santosh Ghosh, Committee Chairman, who shared the vision behind the yatra, saying, “Our goal is not only to guide devotees to these holy sites but to foster spirituality and brotherhood among people.” The organizers have made thorough preparations for the comfort and safety of the pilgrims, including arrangements for food, lodging and health services during the journey. Secretary Anupam Tiwari emphasized, “The safety, comfort and convenience of all pilgrims will be our top priority.”

Treasurer Rajendra Mishra highlighted the deeper significance of the yatra, stating, “In addition to the holy bath at the Maha Kumbh, pilgrims will gain spiritual enlightenment through this divine journey.”
