Jamshedpur, Aug 13: The citizens of all segments and socio-political hues are simmering with rage over the rape of a minor at Telco�s Theme Park on Tuesday last. Members of the Tiger Club held a protest at the Sakchi roundabout with effigies of the five rapists. They demanded immediate death of these miscreants by hanging.
Protestors demanded that the administration should put a curb on such offences. Members of the Tiger Club, Rashtriya Narayani Sena, Jamshedpur Yuva Shakti and other organizations held demonstrations at the DC�s Office. The demonstrators demanded the hanging of the rapists. The women members of the Rashtriya Narayani Sena demanded safety for women. The members handed a memorandum to City SP Subhash Chandra Jat demanding increased security at the Theme Park while the Jamshedpur Yuva Shakti demonstrated in front of the district police headquarter. Birsa Seva Dal demanded installation of CCTV cameras at the Park.
