Jamshedpur, March 1: Steel City is all set to celebrate Founder’s Day in a grand way.

The entire city is decked up for the annual occasion which is no less than a festival for the local residents.

This year’s theme is Greenovation-Make Tomorrow Green.

In view of the huge turnout of visitors, all roads across the city have been lit with decorative lights.

People will be able to see the lighting from 6 pm till midnight.

Lights have been installed at more than 40 places which include the road from CH Area roundabout to Sonari Airport, Kadma-Sonari Link Road, Bistupur-Kadma Main Road, Straight Mile Road and Agrico-Tinplate roundabout.

All heritage buildings have been lit up on Founder’s Day.

Jubilee Park: Lighting to remain open from March 3-5

The grand light show in Jubilee Park would be inaugurated on 2^nd March by Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran.

It would be there till 5^th March. Pedestrians will be able to see the lights from 6.30 pm till 10 pm while those riding cars and two-wheelers would be able to see it from 10 pm till 11 pm.

Route for vehicle will be – In from CFE Gate – Lake Turn –Nicco Park – Statue Area – Out through CFE Gate.

Ambulance and Fire Brigade Assistance.

Beat Patrolling by Special Response Teams (SRTs) and 26 CCTV cameras at significant
places of importance inside the park.

PA systems at two locations – i) Statue Area and ii) Near the Lake turning area.

1 Watch Tower near the Statue Area and 1 Near Lake Side. 4 Police Assistance Booths
with Magistrate deployment – i) CFE Gate ii) Near Sakchi Gate iii) Near Parsi Gate and iv)
Lake Turning area. Frisking check by the Police at all entry points in the Jubilee Park.
