Jamshedpur, May 3: Siddharth Chaudhary, a 40-year-old resident of Mittal Tower on Ramnagar Road No. 2 in Kadma, committed suicide by hanging himself. His body was discovered hanging from a ceiling fan in the balcony of his flat on Friday morning. The family alerted the authorities, prompting the police to swiftly arrive at the scene and retrieve the body for post-mortem examination. An unnatural death case has been filed based on the statement provided by the deceased’s father, Omprakash Chaudhary. According to the father, Siddharth, an employee of Nuvoco Vistas Cement company in Jojobera returned home from his office in Bistupur on Thursday evening and retired to the balcony after dinner. In the early hours of Friday, his wife, Meera Choudhary, made the grim discovery. Siddharth left a suicide note, attributing his actions solely to himself and absolving others of blame. He detailed his debts, including loans of Rs 4.40 lakh from Akhilesh Singh, Rs 2.50 lakh from Ajit Kumar, Rs 2 lakh from Pranthi Mukherjee, and Rs 6 lakh owed to Charanjit Kaur Bhatia, before expressing remorse and taking responsibility for his decision to end his life.
