Jamshedpur, Jan 27: With the planned arrival of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren just around the corner, East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Vijaya Jadhav and her Saraikela-Kharsawan counterpart Arava Rajkamal along with senior officials of both districts jointly reviewed foolproof security measures taken to make the two-day Khatiani Johar Yatra safe and successful. The Jharkhand Chief Minister is scheduled to visit East Singhbhum District on January 30 and 31.

Among other places the DCs Vijaya Jadhav and Arava Rajkamal inspected CM Hemant Soren’s meeting sites at the Gopal Maidan in Bistupur, DBMS School in Kadma and Shahid Nirmal Mahto’s Samadhi Sthal at Uliyan in Kadma. The Chief Minister will arrive in Jamshedpur late evening on January 30. As per plans, Khatiani Johar Yatra and meeting with officials of East Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan districts have been chalked out for January 31. During their review of arrangements at Shahid Nirmal Mahto’s Samadhi Sthal, necessary guidelines were given to the representatives of the Samadhi Sthal management committee present at the spot during inspection. The Deputy Commissioners of both districts held discussions with Ghatshila MLA Ramdas Soren who was present at the Gopal Maidan to ensure security and success of the programme. ADM (Law and Order) Nandkishore Lal, DTO Dinesh Ranjan, SDO Ghatshila Satyavir Rajak and SDO Seraikela were also present during the review and inspection drive. Law and order measures were also reviewed during the inspection of Gopal Maidan and DBMS, Kadma. Directives were given to the concerned officials to ensure that there was no breach in law and order protocols.

Directives were issued to officials concerned on parking of vehicles at the sites of meetings and streamlined traffic systems to avoid glitches.
Deployment of security and police forces at various points, barricading measures and other allied measures were also reviewed.
