Jamshedpur DC, SSP inspect Full Dress rehearsal for Independence Day Parade

Jamshedpur: In view of the upcoming Independence Day celebrations, Deputy Commissioner Karna Satyarthi and Senior Superintendent of Police Piyush Pandey on Wednesday inspected the final parade rehearsal at Gopal Maidan, Bistupur.
Following the flag-hoisting simulation, the DC and SSP reviewed the parade contingents and other arrangements in detail. Present on the occasion were Rural SP Rishabh Garg, Deputy Development Commissioner Nagendra Paswan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhagirath Prasad, and other officials.
The final rehearsal featured contingents from JAP-6, District Police (male and female), Home Guard, NCC (boys and girls), Scouts and Guides (boys and girls), Home Guard units, and the St. Mary’s School band.
Addressing the officials, the DC said that Independence Day is a symbol of patriotism, unity, and sacrifice, and it is the collective duty of all to celebrate it with dignity and respect. He directed officials to ensure that all preparations for the main event are completed in every aspect.
Special emphasis, he added, should be placed on security arrangements, traffic management, crowd control, stage operations, and technical facilities so that all activities on the main day proceed smoothly and on schedule.
