Jamshedpur: Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal held a monitoring meeting to review the compliance of instructions issued during his weekly inspections of various government offices. The meeting, aimed at improving the overall functioning and transparency of government departments, saw participation from Establishment In-charge Chandrajit Singh, head clerks, and clerks of different departments.
Mittal reiterated the importance of systematic and timely maintenance of essential records including the incoming-outgoing register, cash register, file and CNC registers, stock and index registers. He stated that the proper upkeep of these records is not just a procedural necessity but a cornerstone of transparent and accountable governance.
The Deputy Commissioner instructed all personnel to ensure prompt execution of daily administrative tasks while also being responsive and courteous to the public seeking information or assistance. He stressed that government employees must work as per established rules and maintain professionalism to uphold the integrity and image of the administration.
